Mokymai Vengrijoje...

From 2nd-13th of May, 22 participants from 14 countries faced challenges working on their personal development in a beautiful UNESCO village of Hollokő, Hungary. The main goal of the training was “to create more successes in life while enjoying it”. Behind this noble motto precise challenges are hidden with creating awareness of your own thoughts, taking action beyond your thoughts, creating results, maximizing creativity among them. The most important, however, was to see yourself as a possibility.

During the training participants had a chance to put themselves in the trainers shoes and organize a workshop for the rest of the group. Workshops focused on following topics:

1. Communication – with the focus on leadership and trust. “Our workshop was about communication and leadership. We had 17 participants. Only 3 of them were allowed to see. The rest was blindfolded. The only person allowed to talk was the leader who had to guide the group from one point to another . The rest of the group had to remain in complete silence. They made two circles – inner and outer around the leader who was hold on the shoulders of two helpers. Participants gain trust in each other ,communicated without words and adapted there moves to each other”.

2. Organization- with the focus on prioritizing tasks. “Our workshop was about planning your day and realizing the most and less important things we have to do during our day. We asked participants to list all their daily duties and, organize it chronologically and then choose 10 the most important for them. This way they could realize the easiest way to organize their lives”.

3. Self-development – with the focus on trust. “Our workshop took place at night, people worked in pairs, one of them blindfolded and had to go through the obstacle course. Sometimes it was difficult but everyone succeeded”.

4. Creativity and challenge – with the impact on exceeding your comfort zone. “In our workshop we divided the participants in two groups. One of them had to create a song about their learning goals in the training. The other, had to do the same using body language. Everyone were asked to enjoy the task while doing it.”

5. Motivation – with the focus on the two dimensions of motivation – being motivated and motivating others. “Our workshop consisted of two parts. In the first part participants worked in pairs, fulfilling tasks, practicing how it feels to be motivated and to motivate others. The second round was about the motivation in the group and the task was to arrange a puzzle and then solve the riddle. The award was a box of chocolates’.
